Altitude by Mastercard – Pilot Terms and Conditions
By using Altitude by Mastercard, you agree to the following pilot program terms:
Service Overview
Altitude by Mastercard offers eligible premium cardholders a complimentary upgrade to Business Class, subject to airline availability and confirmation.
Upgrade Value
Altitude by Mastercard covers up to $500 USD per upgrade. Any cost above this amount must be covered by the cardholder. Additional airline fees (e.g., baggage, seat selection) are not included.
Availability & Airline Rules
Upgrades are not guaranteed and depend on airline approval. The original fare rules (e.g., refundability, change fees, mileage accrual) remain unchanged unless otherwise stated by the airline.
Right to Decline
Altitude by Mastercard reserves the right to decline any upgrade request or request additional information required to process the upgrade.
Pilot Program Notice
This is a test version of the service. Features, availability, and eligibility may change. Your feedback may be requested to help improve the final experience.
Upgrade Request Timing
You may request an upgrade at any time; however, during the pilot phase, requests are processed daily between 10:00 and 19:00 Kyiv time (UTC+3), including weekends.
Requests submitted outside of working hours will be processed on the next business day. 24/7 service will be available after the pilot phase.
Upgrade Guarantee Disclaimer
Upgrades are not guaranteed and are subject to airline policies and Business Class seat availability.
Your request may be denied due to:

Tickets booked through travel agencies or third-party platforms

Promotional fares or fare types that do not allow upgrades

Limited seat availability or airline-imposed upgrade restrictions
If your upgrade cannot be processed, you will receive an email notification within two business hours.
If your request is denied, you will be notified by email within two business hours.
Flight Cancellations or Changes After Upgrade
If your flight is cancelled or rescheduled after your upgrade is confirmed, please contact our support team as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to request a new upgrade for your updated flight, but approval depends on airline policy and seat availability.
If only the departure time changes (with the same flight number and date), your upgrade remains valid — no action needed.
